Bread & Bricks Social Justice group
Bread and Bricks is a social justice group that meets weekly to discuss issues such as food insecurity, housing insecurity, climate justice, etc. Members engage in constructive discussion and provide support to one another.
Who Should Attend?
Bread & Bricks is open to all members of the community who want to discuss issues facing themselves and the community, and/or offer support to others.

Beyond Table 91
Beyond Table 91 is a continuation of the City of Toronto’s monthly meet up, Table 91. The group meets monthly to discuss issues in the community and what actions can be taken to address them. Beyond Table 91 often focuses on community safety and community building, but all topics are welcome.
Who Should Attend?
Beyond Table 91 is open to all members of the community who want to discuss issues facing themselves and the community, and organize and/or participate in actions to address these problems.

Our Community Land Trust working group began forming in 2024 and is in the process of creating a non-profit group that will address the identified community needs of housing, access to food, and recreation.
How to get involved

campaign for Guaranteed Livable Income
Guaranteed Livable Income is a regular payment to individuals or families by government that is not conditional and allows everyone to live with dignity and security. We run various events such as vigils and information sessions to raise awareness about the benefits of guaranteed livable income.
Who Should get involved?
Community members who want to show support for a guaranteed livable income are invited to get involved.

Family Camp
DPCM organizes an annual weekend family camp for members of the Davenport Perth community to get away from the city and experience nature. We invite participant contributions, and transportation is provided to the camp.
Who Should Attend?
All members of the community are welcome to apply for family camp. There are a limited number of spots available.

TRACING GETE-ONIGAMING ROUTES
Tracing Gete-Onigaming Routes is a video project that captures some of the many stories of people from the Davenport Perth Community. It collected and recorded stories of how people have made Davenport their place, mapping out their many assets and resources, bearing witness to this community's strengths and abilities.
